My Way of Working
“I never want to see you again.”
That might sound strange coming from a physiotherapist — but it’s my way of saying: if I’ve done my job right, you won’t need to come back. My goal is to help you recover fully and return to your daily life with confidence, strength, and less pain.
I work with you as a team. Every person is different, and every body tells a story. That’s why I don’t just treat the symptoms — I look for the root cause. We take a full-body, whole-person approach (biopsychosocial model), meaning we explore how physical, mental, and lifestyle factors might be contributing to your complaint.
What to Expect
At your first appointment, we always start with a thorough 60-minute assessment. This allows us to understand what’s going on — not just where it hurts, but why it hurts. From there, we make a plan together. You’ll be actively involved in your own recovery.
Techniques & Tools I Use
Movement Screening & Testing
We assess strength, flexibility, posture, and neuromuscular control to find imbalances or dysfunctions.
Physical Rehabilitation
I use active rehab strategies like:
Functional and strength training
Mobility and balance training
Neuromuscular re-education (coordination, control, stability)
Back & Neck Rehab
Tailored programs for disc issues, joint dysfunctions, and chronic back/neck pain — often using gentle traction and postural work.
Peri- & Post-Natal Rehab
Helping new and expecting mothers regain strength and function safely and effectively.
Manual Techniques
Joint mobilizations & manipulations
Soft tissue techniques for pain and stiffness
Myofascial Release & Trigger Point Therapy
Using pressure to release knots and tight tissue
(including dry needling if appropriate)
PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation)
Advanced neuromuscular stretching and control techniques to restore healthy movement patterns.
Running Re-Training & Gait Analysis
Perfect for runners with recurring pain or those who want to improve form and efficiency.
Aerial-Based Therapy
Using suspended hammocks for spinal decompression, mobility work, and postural rehab — especially helpful for back and neck pain.
Focus on Long-Term Results
Physiotherapy should help you move better — not just temporarily feel better. That’s why I use active, evidence-based methods and always aim for long-term solutions, not quick fixes.
Let’s work together to find what your body truly needs.
